New sideboard purchased. VU+, Denon AVR 2800x and old Sony Blu-Ray can now be operated from the closed cabinet. No matter which remote control, it works :-)

Range of IR signals not as expected
Marmitek is recommended by the manufacturer of high-quality/expensive furniture "Kettnaker". I bought a TV unit from Kettnaker and installed Marmitek. The product supplied did not work (IR signal was not transmitted) and was replaced by Galaxus. Thanks for the great service, it worked perfectly.
I tested the second product before installation and it worked. If I install the IR blasters as specified in the instructions, it doesn't work, the transmission power of the blasters is far too weak. I want to control a Bose cinema system and a Panasonic DVD player, the IR blaster must be a maximum of 10cm away from the receivers to ensure signal transmission. It is essential to try it out before gluing and, if necessary, provide one blaster per device. It's not bad, but it doesn't fulfil my expectations.Pro

Serves the purpose
The box is not too big. The receivers and transmitters are small, but some of them need to be visibly glued in a good place. It has 3 cables, some of which are very long depending on use. But it fulfils its task exactly. Price/performance is right.

Top connection
There are no connection failures. You can operate the devices in the closed hi-fi furniture without always keeping the door open. I am thrilled!
