Product OK, customer service as in 1980
The Office runs reliably as expected. But there is more to a good experience these days than a functioning programme.
But if you lose access to your account and can't restore it, you're really out of luck with Microsoft and have to go through a support odyssey. Regardless of whether it's a 90-minute wait at the call centre, insufficient help online, or a garden-variety attitude via email (We are the account team, please send the Office team back to support), in 2018 I simply expect a global company like Microsoft to offer decent support and not charge 34 euros at the end of the day to solve a problem. After all, you already bought the Office for CHF 139.Pro

Meets expectations, if it weren't for the registration.
Well, there's not much you can say about it:
The three Office programmes PowerPoint, Word and Excel have been doing roughly the same thing for 20 years, with a few improvements in the period mentioned... Therefore basically everything is OK
But now comes the big one:
- You MUST register online with Microsoft.
That means: First name, last name, date of birth, mobile phone number (this is verified), e-mail address which you will certainly never need again except for the...
In addition, the whole registration process was very tedious. Again and again I got an error message saying that it was not possible to register at the moment. Restart the browser and after a few attempts it works. In addition, I was asked again and again whether I wanted to have an Office 365...
That's all well and good with Office 365, but an absolute no-go with a "lifetime" licence.
If you really only need one Office, I recommend a free OpenOffice or an older version which is available with a CD...Before the next purchase of a new programme, I check whether the old one also runs!
Everything i.O. . but the old Office 2010 also runs with Windows 10!
