Low profile replacement (without pointer function) for LG OLED65CX magic remote
At first I had an issue regarding the Streamer remote’s “OK” button not working with my LG OLED65CX and not learning LG’s magic remote center button. I have since solved the issue:
1. Reset remote to factory settings
2. Setup using A-Simpleset TV – LG button (red power button) – first code cycle powered off tv. Upon starting up tv, remote lacked functionality of wheel and ok buttons
3. Turn on CEC mode – instructions here https://www.oneforall.us/universal-... . press and hold tv power button and “A” button until light flashes. OK and wheel (left,right,top,down) buttons now work.
If it doesn't work the first time, perform a factory reset and try again (repeat until it works). Additionally, some quirky notes about LG’s magic remote and the streamer’s learning function. For many of the magic remote buttons the LG OLED TV had to be turned off in order for the streamer remote to learn the LG magic remote’s button function.
I wanted to set the bottom right youtube button to open the youtube app on my LG OLED. However, there is no youtube specific button on the magic remote that the oneforall remote can learn from. But there is a workaround:
-Turn on LG TV. Press and hold the “-/list” button below the “7” button. The quick access menu will appear. Set any of the number buttons, for example button “1” to the youtube app. Now when you press and hold “1” on the magic remote the youtube app will open.
-Turn LG tv off. Set One For All streamer remote to learning mode and face towards magic remote. Press the youtube button (bottom right) on streamer remote, then press the “1” button on the magic remote. Press and hold tv power button on streamer remote to save.
-Turn LG tv on. To open youtube with One For All Streamer remote double press and hold the youtube button (bottom right) until LG tv opens youtube app.

No recommendation for Apple TV
Unfortunately, the product does not keep its promises. Although the manufacturer advertises compatibility with Apple TV, the support is very limited. Can not replace the Apple TV Remote in any way.

Apple TV
Unfortunately, I didn't manage to configure the remote control for my Appl-TV box properly. I could only have done this with a lot of manual effort. So the remote control went back.
Does not work properly with Logitech
Advertised as compatible on the brand's website and you can just turn the volume up or down and nothing else.
