This is my sixth Roccat Kone mouse. For me, simply the most ergonomic mouse I've ever had, even across the various series (Kone+, EMP, AIMO, AIMO Remastered). Unfortunately, the quality continues to drop with each new edition. The first Kone lasted over 5 years despite intensive use, then the life span became shorter and shorter. (Positive side effect: meanwhile it is so short that it is within the warranty period...). With me, every Kone mouse suffered from contact bounce of the left mouse button, which resulted in unintentional double clicks. The cause was not the microswitch, but the plastic bar that presses on the microswitch. This had a notch at the point where it touched the microswitch. This created an air gap and the microswitch was no longer damped enough (mech. debouncing), which is why it began to bounce. Unfortunately, no more exchange of the switch helps.
What I just noticed: There are firmware version 1.03, 1.004 and 1.005. The changelog on the Roccat site states that the last fixes were made in 2021. However, the date of firmware V1.03 is 07/03/2019.Unfortunately, there is no version number anywhere on the website.I am not sure if now V1.03 or V1.005 is the latest firmware.

Returned twice because of defective scroll wheel and also the third has the same weaknesses after a few days.

Unfortunately, I have already ordered this mouse twice and both times it broke after approx. 1 month... The first time, there were problems with the left click, where the mouse simply interrupted the signal and "let go" even though I kept the button pressed. The second time, also after a month, the scroll wheel broke - scrolled halfway in the opposite direction again and again...
A very bad result from a manufacturer like Roccat and also leads to me preferring to buy a different brand in the future...

I have been using this mouse for gaming for over a year now. It is one of the best gaming mice in my opinion. The mouse is wired, but the cable is very light and supple and causes almost no frictional resistance on a surface. The three thumb buttons are also very practical for video games as they are very easy to reach.
