Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 - G75NB
3840 x 2160 Pixels, 32"
I don't recommend it at all! I used my first monitor for 3 months until I found the first burnt-out pixel. I reported it immediately and sent it back. Next monitor had a dark grey stripe on the display (inside panel) in grey colour. Also sent back. Now they want me to wait 4 weeks for the repair, of course without the monitor for 1259€ (that's what it cost back then).
Update
Monitor back from service it was a panel exchange. Now I have white dead pixels on a black background.

I really wish I could recommend this screen because on paper the specs look great and it is the only high refresh rate 4K monitor with good HDR suitable for a desktop (32") that is available on the market. But I've never seen such poor quality control in my life and I've been through many monitors though. My first Neo G7 had a dead pixel and scanline issues. My second Neo G7 had a stain, vertical banding problem and a DisplayPort issue. My third Neo G7 has a dead pixel and a hair under the glass. Don't buy it unless you're prepared to go through a dozen exchanges. It's a shame because the picture is beautiful when everything works. I'm going to pass and wait for the next wave of Mini LED HDR screens that are not produced by Samsung, which should be avoided like the plague (there are similar reviews on the Neo G8 page). However, I wanted to thank Digitec's fabulous customer service team who have been very understanding and accommodating of exchanges/refunds every time.

The picture is classy and a definite step up, but you're in a lot of trouble and Samsung once again shows poor QA.
The refresh rate was blocked to 4K 60Hz when I received it. Tried 3 different displayport cables and all possible settings in the settings and nothing helped. The website only offers an older firmware version. Only a manual Windows setting enabled 4K 120Hz, but it refuses to accept 165Hz in Windows. On lower resolutions 165Hz was possible, good source of help https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads....
Worse, however, are the tearings at low frame rates. Videos in particular are regularly torn apart, especially in vertical movements with colour changes. Since most videos and films are recorded at low frame rates, you often encounter this problem, in games I have only experienced it in one game.
The curvature takes some getting used to, at 50cm you don't notice anything and it feels good, but if you choose a greater distance (80cm) the curvature comes strongly to the fore and it is annoying. The pivot function is possible on both sides (the monitor does not recognise the changed position) and the monitor wobbles at the slightest touch.
In short: You have fun in games, but there are better things to do.
Let's see if it gets better with the new computer.

Whoever has high demands on a gaming monitor will be well served here. 4k + 165hz + true HDR capability in a 32" format, there is almost nothing else available at the moment (Oct 2022). The good 1190 FALD zones are actually capable of producing black levels that come very close to OLED, which cannot be said of the vast majority of LCDs. However, especially with smaller objects (e.g. FPS display/life bar/subtitles) with a black background, there is a bloom, for which the zones are still too large. However, this is not really annoying, as the dimming algorithm otherwise works perfectly. Basically, the monitor is quite good in terms of HDR and achieves high brightness values. I did not notice any scan lines like on the Neo G8. AMD Freesynch Premium Pro works, even with Nvidia GPU.
The screen can't quite keep up with OLED in terms of HDR performance, but since there are no OLED screens with 4k, 32" and a high refresh rate yet, this is probably the best alternative at the moment. Moreover, you don't have to worry about burn-in. I recommend a VESA mount.

Before you buy this monitor make sure your graphics card supports 4k 144hz,otherwise only you can 60hz or 1080 / 2k 144hz
I honestly find it too poorly backlit (even after changing settings etc) I have the brightness at 100 and still see it dark.
I use it as my main monitor and my old one (4k),honestly , I like the way it looks better.
It has small problems , like if you watch a 4k video with vlc and hdr on ) , the screen turns black.
Let's see how it goes
*** EDIT***
I´ve had the PC for 3 days now and I´m already starting to see serious problems.Strong flickering that doesn´t allow me to do anything,as many users have said on reddit.Black screens every time I try to watch a full screen video. If this continues I´m asking for a return. And yes, even after updating the firmware to the latest one,it still has it.Disappointing for a screen of almost 1000 fr! The more crap the monitor has the more problems it has.
***EDIT 2***
After changing a thousand things in graphics software, windows and screen. i randomly disabled the windows HDR as well as the FreeSync of the screen and boom, no more flickering, no more black screens while watching full screen videos and i have normal brightness again as i like it. so ALL the HDR that makes the screen look like crap.

After a long search, I have finally found you, O love of my youth. Your delicate and resilient skin that expresses itself through the splendour of the absence of burn-in risk is overwhelming.
But it is not your outer beauty that counts... but your innere❤️. Your heartbeat of 165 is like balm for my wounds caused by 60 heartbeats.
Your beauty will never fade. Until death do us part, I am yours!🥰
