Seasonic Prime TX-1000
Good workmanship, you can look at it... and from a purely technical point of view, there is little to say about Seasonic except that these titanium power supplies, together with the high-end series from Corsair, are currently pretty much the optimum in quality and safety that can be achieved. According to tests, the power supply can even be guaranteed above 1300 W. You will certainly NEVER have stability problems due to poor power quality, something like that is unknown to me here. In this respect, the following applies: You get what you pay for: It is guaranteed that a power supply half as expensive would not be equally good. 1200-1300 W is pretty much the optimum at the moment, since a PSU generally has the highest efficiency at around 50% load, and with today's high-end hardware you will end up with such PSUs in the 50% load range.
However, it is important to note: The PSU I received came with a Schuko F power plug that does not fit into local sockets. In addition, the PSU has a hot appliance connection (at the input) instead of the usual cold appliance connection as is usual with PCs. Here, this PSU is relatively special and such cables are almost impossible to find in the usual trade. I had to buy a fix adapter to solve the problem in the short term, which is also hard to find. Although this solution offers the highest security, it is quite "overkill" and can cause headaches if it does not fit.
About the two 12VHPWR (GPU) cables: Probably this (the bendability) will be improved in later PSUs (according to Seasonic today the case) but in my case it was still the "old spec". Presumably not all customers are affected by this, as different suppliers are involved.
It would be good if Galaxus/Digitec offered the matching accessories and also pointed them out.

Picture 3: Do not bend 12VHPWR too much (90°-adapter recommended, unfortunately not
available)
Picture 4: Fixed adapter: DO NOT use a travel adapter!

However, Digitec could at least include a Swiss cable with a 300. power supply.
finally the right power supply for my RTX 3080 suprim x from msi.

The PSU powers an overclocked AMD X5950 and an overclocked NVIDIA 3080 Ti, motherboard, drive, 2 M.2 SSDs, 6 normal SSDs, water cooling, countless fans....
My total consumption is maximum (everything running 100%) at about 650W. So with the 1300 W from Seasonic, I am exactly in the optimal efficiency range and there is plenty of room for improvement. Even though my future NVIDIA 4090 won't consume much more than 350W, just like my current 3090 Ti.
I previously owned a Corsair RM850, but it was now over 7 years old and every now and then the computer would inexplicably reboot. Since the new power supply has been installed, I haven't had it so far. Maybe the old power supply couldn't handle voltage spikes or what.
Fan is not audible in "normal" mode, in hybrid mode it only comes on at a certain consumption. I leave it on "normal" though, a little air never hurts ;-)
Cables look very valuable and there are loads of them.
Everything is also nicely packaged, voucher can be won, and a 65W charger for USB-C is available.
So far I am completely satisfied. And the price... Honestly... If it lasts 10 years, it cost just under CHF 40 per year. If that's too expensive, you don't need it or you should look for another hobby.
