Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition

Recommended purchase for serious Airbus enthusiasts. However, if you fly in the MSFS2020 just for fun or similar, I would recommend another set (all-in-one). With the Thrustmaster joystick and clamp, this product now replaces my five year old X52.

Matches the expectation and very easy to operate. Once all sims are compatible there will be no worries. For the moment it works perfectly with many addons. However, be careful to follow the instructions for tightening the friction - the system is a bit tricky.

Very satisfied; very realistic.

All in all, it's a good product. The slow roll is not so easy because the thrust is extremely sensitive, but otherwise it's ok. I have already completed a few flights and it is fun. Works flawlessly with Flight Simulator 2020, plug in the controller and go.
I was looking forward to this product. And I must say that I am a little disappointed... I even hesitate between three and four stars...
Finally a system with Airbus triggers and a real reverse system. That's cool.
The product is a bit small compared to the original. I was expecting it, but it's still a negative point for me. Goodbye realism.
I was excited about the presence of the triggers. Unfortunately, you hardly feel them. They are there, but you don't feel them enough... It's easy to miss them when you get on the throttle quickly...
The friction is also too light for my taste. Even with the maximum setting, there is almost no resistance.
These last two remarks have a cause: the product is much too light! Impossible to come back from reverse without holding the joystick, otherwise it moves or lifts... really a pity, it becomes almost compulsory to fix it to a base...
I would also have appreciated a real safety system for the engine start lever. The real ones need to be lifted before they can be moved, so they can't be manipulated by mistake. I know it would have been difficult (and expensive) to implement this, but it would have been great for realism

Overall I enjoy this product. However, it comes with problems due to seemingly cheap production.
,
The sensors for the position of each of the thrust levers can differ greatly (For example, the 2 levers could physically be in the same position, but the software thinks that lever #1 is a lot more forward/backward than lever #2). This can be a little annoying when trying to enter the CLB detent range as the game might recognize 1 lever in the CLB detent but thinks the other isn't there yet or already past it (same thing with FLEX/MCT detent), sometimes even resulting in the "THRUST ASYM" warning in the Airbus.
Where it becomes really problematic is in the thrust reverse detent range/zone:
#1 Both levers think they have reached the end of the axis/deflection range only halfway into the reverse thrust zone (you physically could still push them further back but it would have no effect in the software). Hence reducing the total effective range (of an already very small range) in which you can move the reversers.
#2 Due to the earlier problem with the 2 levers physically being in the same physical position but indicating a slightly different position value to the software, combined with the smaller movement range from problem #1, result in any positional value inaccuracies being amplified immensely. More often than not, 1 engine will be in IDLE reverse while the other is in MAX reverse even though both levers are in the exact same physical position.
It is possible to "soften" the effect of these problems, but it will take a lot of time configuring and calibrating the controls in the Simulator, and even then it will not be perfect.
Another issue I had was that some of the screws to attach/remove the optional detent notches literally partially pulverized upon me removing them for the first time, indicating once again cheap build quality.
