    Good investment

I bought the Deco as a replacement for my 4G Fritzbox.
It was very easy to set up and the 5G reception at my place is very good (without external antennas). With the Fritzbox, I achieved a download speed of around 130mbit/s
at the same location as the box. With the Deco I get up to 500mbit/s.
The configuration settings are ok for the 0815 user, but if you are looking for the functions of a Fritzbox, you are wrong with this product.

    • External antennas not necessary

    Contra

    • Very few setting options
    • Only configurable in the Deco app
    • No external antennas supplied and very difficult to obtain as accessories

    TP-Link 5G Router

It has very good reception, equipped with an external Nedis 5G antenna (No 31971409) and two SMA RP connectors (No 5835436)!

    Not such a burner

I bought this appliance with great expectations based on the previous reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I was aware that the device can only be controlled via an app (and not via a web browser like the FritzBox, for example). Unfortunately, I didn't realise that I couldn't switch off the WLAN. For me, the device would have been a pure Internet access point, whereby I then set up a network with another router. So I wouldn't need the WLAN on this one, or at least only temporarily. But this way you're exposed to radiation all the time, so I'm returning the device

    Pro

    • Elegant design
    • Good network
    • Stable reception

    Contra

    • Operation via app only
    • WLAN time control not possible

Works very well in 5 G

I bought the TP-Link 5 G for my chalet because I didn't have fibre in the mountains :-)! I added devolos on top to give a complete network. TOP nothing to complain about for the moment and I'm on 150 MPS by looking on the speedtest application while the network is not top there so very happy.

    Pro

    • Easy to install
    • Application for remote network management
    • Wired output to put a devolo relay on it and give Wifi everywhere

    Contra

    • A little big

    Very good 5G router!

USL 5G/LTE antenna USL-1006420 SMA 11 dBi directional beam Highly amplified, cross-polarised 5G.
In my case, the connection resulted in a gain of +25dB 5G reception.

    • Simple configuration via app (smartphone)
    • Simple integration of additional Deco units
    • SW update via app
    • Reception can be significantly improved with external 5G

    Contra

    • Could start a little faster when restarting (e.g. in the event of a power interruption).
