I am very satisfied with the Yubico Yubikey 5 NFC - NFC in particular is very practical on my mobile. In my case, the Yubikey has the latest firmware 5.7.1.
Top security features also for mobile
I use the YubiKey to secure many web services with 2FA. The NFC variant especially to work with the services on smartphones.
Works really well and without problems.
The Yubico apps are also great, the Authenticator (TOTP) has replaced the Google Authenticator. Again, works great together with the smartphone and the Yubico app.Pro

Absolutely thrilled! Relatively easy setup with the new desktop app (https://www.yubico.com/products...
A little time needs to be invested to read into it a bit and I personally would try it out with a few "test accounts" first. Every provider handles it a little differently.
I successfully set it up yesterday with all the providers listed! Only "Keepass" was a bit fiddly.

But once you've set up one/two accounts, you'll get the hang of it very quickly!
I can't say anything about the Android app yet, as my mobile phone is broken... But it will work like any other authenticator app.
The only thing to consider is, because https://www.yubico.com/why-yubico... recommends buying 2 keys at once (backup key), to buy 2 YubiKeys. This is not obvious if you just look at the Digitec page.Pro

Impressively good idea, poorly realised
I have been submitting my tax return electronically in the canton of Zurich for 6 years. So far, every time without any problems.
Now you have to register via AGOV and you can do this with this electron. Key without any problems. The registration with AGOV worked and was confirmed by e-mail.
But from then on, logging in was impossible.
It is a great pity that there is no support available anywhere. A great idea is being ridden to death like this.Pro
