Product details
The RØDE VideoMic Pro is a newly developed, ultra-compact condenser shotgun microphone designed for hot shoe mounting, enabling videographers to capture audio recordings in professional broadcast quality with high speech intelligibility.
Measuring just 15 cm in length and weighing nearly 90 g, the VideoMic Pro is the perfect companion for the new generation of DSLR cameras with HD video capabilities, as well as for any type of standard DV camcorder. Its cleverly and discreetly integrated elastic suspension effectively decouples the microphone from handling noise and similar disturbances. If needed, a low-cut filter can be activated on the back to further suppress low-frequency interference. The connection to the camera is made via a 3.5 mm stereo jack.
As a mono shotgun microphone, the VideoMic Pro is particularly suitable for various types of reports where the focus is less on capturing stereo ambience or music, but rather on achieving precise audio recordings with a narrow forward angle that corresponds to the image framing. Typical examples include interviews where predominantly speech is recorded as direct sound, which is then generally output centrally in the stereo panorama during playback on a home system.
The hot shoe adapter features a 3/8" tripod thread, allowing the VideoMic Pro to be used separately from the camera if desired – for instance, mounted on a pistol grip, tripod, or boom pole.

- ideal für Distanzaufnahmen

- Halterung etwas labil
