Product details
The RØDE VideoMic is a 1/2” shotgun condenser microphone with professional specifications designed for consumer video cameras and compact audio recorders. Its Rycote Lyre suspension isolates the VideoMic capsule and prevents handling noise by avoiding direct contact between the microphone housing and the mount. The Lyre band is made from durable and nearly wear-free thermoplastic, ensuring a disturbance-free suspension of the microphone. The hot shoe mount features a 3/8” thread on the bottom, allowing it to be attached to a microphone stand or boom pole. With its supercardioid pickup pattern, the VideoMic captures only signals in front of the capsule while reducing side and background noise. The frequency response ranges from 40Hz to 20kHz and can be limited with the 80Hz high-pass filter to avoid low-frequency interference. The pad switch (–10dB or –20dB) is located in the battery compartment and is ideal for loud environments such as live concerts and motorsports. The RØDE VideoMic is manufactured in Australia and allows for a free extension of the RØDE warranty to 10 years.
Studio-quality recording, condenser microphone, supercardioid pattern, 9V battery operation, integrated elastic Rycote Lyre mount, adjustable high-pass filter (neutral/80Hz), adjustable pad (0, –10, –20dB), solid ABS housing, supplied with windscreen, mini-jack output (3.5mm), hot shoe mount on the bottom (with 3/8” thread).

- solide Konstruktion
- Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
- wenig vielseitige Bauform
