Rode's VideoMicro is a compact condenser microphone designed for use in combination with cameras. No batteries are required for operation and the connection to the camera is uncomplicated via the SC2 connection cable. The compact and lightweight design as well as the simple fastening by means of an integrated standard flash shoe adapter also ensure uncomplicated handling. The cardioid condenser microphone picks up sound from the front, so there's no annoying background noise. It is therefore ideally suited for recordings of live concerts and stage appearances of any kind. The structure-borne sound decoupling by Rycote Lyre always ensures clear audio recordings. For outdoor recordings, the sound quality can be further improved with the optional Deluxe WS9 fur windscreen.
