The Ricoh Theta V is the fifth generation of Ricoh full spherical cameras. As a pioneer of this technology, the latest Theta model is more than just a 360-degree panoramic view. With the greatly improved picture quality and videos in 4K as well as innovative features such as the 4-channel microphone for spatial sound recording and the connection for wireless data transmission to TV sets, the new Theta V lifts all boundaries and invites the viewer to make his very own picture. Because the world is a sphere and more than just a 360-degree panorama. 4K video recording for best recording quality Fast data transfer for live streaming to the Internet 4-channel room tone Bluetooth (BLE) and WiFi transmission. 19 GB of memory for up to 40 minutes of video in 4K remote playback for television (using Mirarcast). An optional underwater housing for exciting action shots (not included) is available as an accessory.

Die Ricoh Theta V überzeugt durch ein tolles Design und nette Zusatzfunktionen. Neben Ihr wirkt die Gear 360 von Samsung wie ein kleines Gimmick. Es gibt aber auch Nachteile: Gegen Spritzwasser geschützt oder gar wasserdicht ist die Kamera nicht. Dafür braucht es erst ein Case, für das Ricoh 199 Euro aufruft...
