The Titan Switch consists of equal parts of mechanics and firmware. In terms of mechanics, the Roccat Switch offers a variety of innovations for more reliability and consistency with every keystroke.
The special housing stabilizes the switch's structure to minimize back and forth wobbling and creates a robust and solid keystroke. The switch's transparency maximizes the effects of AIMO lighting. Also very important is the debouncing of the switch contacts. By optimizing the mechanics, a clean signal is produced when the switch is actuated, with significantly less vibration during electrical contact. The contact stabilizes faster and the keystroke can be read more quickly. This innovation allows the revised firmware to read the keystroke on Vulcan keyboards at a much earlier time - much faster than on competing keyboards - with increased responsiveness and precision. The Titan Switch Linear has a trigger point of 1.4mm with an actuation travel of 3.6mm. It's our fastest switch - 30% faster than standard - and is both crisp and responsive.
