Die Samsung EVO 970 erzielt sehr hohe maximale Datentransferraten. Bei 4K-Dateien ist sie aber nur Mittelklasse. Als Zweitspeicher ist sie bestens geeignet.

Samsung ist auch bei den kleinen M.2-SSDs das Maß der Dinge und siegt in gleich drei Rubriken: mit der Samsung 970 Evo bei den M.2-SSDs mit NVMe-Technik in den Kategorien 500 Gigabyte und 1000 Gigabyte, bei den günstigeren M.2-SSDs mit SATA-Schnittstelle um 500 Gigabyte mit der Samsung 850 Evo.
