Product details

An outstanding SSD further enhances high performance. The 970 EVO Plus, equipped with the latest V-NAND technology, is faster than the 970 EVO and features firmware optimization. This fully utilizes the potential of the PCIe interface and NVMe protocol for even faster access times. With a storage capacity of 2 TB, the specified total bytes written (TBW) is 1,200 TB.

Next-level performance: With read speeds of up to 3,500 MB/s and write speeds of up to 3,300 MB/s, the 970 EVO Plus is up to 53% faster than its predecessor, the 970 EVO. The latest generation of V-NAND technology ensures outstanding performance and improved energy efficiency. Additionally, the 970 EVO Plus features optimized firmware, the proven Phoenix controller, and Intelligent TurboWrite technology to accelerate write operations.

Flexibility through good product design: The 970 EVO Plus represents the advancement in NVMe SSDs. In addition to high performance, it offers a storage capacity of up to 2 TB in a compact M.2 form factor (2280). It provides ample storage space in a small footprint, saving valuable space for other components. Innovative Samsung technologies allow you to have the freedom you need to achieve a lot and accomplish even more.

Uncompromising reliability: The proven Samsung Phoenix controller is coated with a layer of nickel, and the drive module of the 970 EVO Plus is equipped with a thin heat spreader, effectively dissipating heat generated during operation. Furthermore, the Dynamic Thermal Guard function constantly monitors the drive to maintain optimal operating temperatures and keep performance consistent.
