Samsung's A-models are bestsellers, but the Galaxy A33 5G has to settle for a place in the middle of the test field. It has no glaring weaknesses. However, the camera and speed of operation are disappointing. On the other hand, the prospect of many software updates is good. It is also the only device in the 300-euro class that is waterproof...

- High quality design
- Long support duration
- Price/Performance
- Battery life
- Loading time
The Galaxy A33 could also have been called the "A53 Lite", because there are hardly any major differences. - 5G
- Bright OLED (90 Hertz)
- waterproof
- No jack socket
- slow WLAN
- No wireless charging
The Galaxy A33 5G is, in a way, the little brother of the A53. At 6.4 inches, it is the handiest test device - and technically hardly weaker. Thanks to OLED, the screen also shows crisp contrasts, although not quite as bright as the A53. The photos are decent (except for zoom). And like the A53, it is waterproof and future-proof with 5G mobile communications.
