Under the matte black surface of the DarkGlider lies an enhanced version of the Avago 9500 laser sensor, supporting up to 6,000 DPI and a maximum of 11,750 FPS. The currently used DPI setting is displayed on an LC screen. The gaming mouse features ten fully programmable buttons.
With the 256 KB onboard memory, various user profiles can be created and easily taken to another computer. The DarkGlider glides on special lens-shaped ceramic feet and offers a weight-tuning system for adjusting its weight.

Die Darkglider verfügt über ein LC-Display zur Anzeige der aktuellen DPI-Zahl, ein veränderbares Gewicht und zehn programmierbare Tasten sowie Keramik-Gleitfüßen: Das sind Oberklasse-Funktionen, aber zu einem sehr niedrigen Preis! Auch nach dem Test finden wir, dass die Darkglider ein wahrer Preis-Hit ist und auch präzise arbeitet...
Auch wenn der Preis deutlich günstiger ausfällt als bei der Konkurrenz, so ist die Maus von Sharkoon durchaus in der Lage es mit den hochpreisigen Modellen aufzunehmen. Dabei gleitet sie sehr gut über alle Oberflächen und ist auch gut zu bedienen. Leider ist die Software eher dürftig und auch bei der Empfindlichkeit sind nur wenige Einstellungen verfügbar.
Gamer machen mit dieser Maus gar nichts falsch, besser gesagt, sogar alles richtig. Der Anwender hat zahlreiche Möglichkeiten der Individualisierung, wobei er Gewicht variieren, Profile konfigurieren oder auch die Empfindlichkeit separat einstellen kann.
Der neuen Maus von Sharkoon darf man getrost eine Empfehlung aussprechen, zumal sie für diesen Preis hervorragende Leistungen liefert. Lediglich die Softwareausstattung lässt noch Luft nach oben.
