Die Verarbeitung und die Haptik während der Arbeit mit dem Objektiv sind exzellent und auch die Ergebnisse können sich sehen lassen. So ist der Bildstabilisator sehr zuverlässig und auch Themen wie Verzeichnungen und Vignettierung meistert das Sigma größtenteils sehr gut. Somit ist es ein top Allrounder und praktisch immer einsatzfähig.
Auch wenn das Sigma keinen perfekten Eindruck hinterlässt und in den Ecken mäßig arbeitet, ist es wohl eine gute Alternative zwischen Spezial- und Allroundobjektiv. Somit hat es sich eine Empfehlung verdient und auch der Preis geht vollkommen in Ordnung.
Das Sigma arbeitet bei der Zentrierung und der Vignettierung recht solide und fast perfekt. Allerdings könnte die Verzeichnung etwas besser ausgeglichen werden. Dafür ist die Detailauflösung bei allen Brennweiten extrem gut und auch die Fertigungsqualität ist hervorragend.

Das Objektiv von Sigma bietet Anschlussmöglichkeiten für Kameras von Sigma und Nikon. Nicht nur mit der Auflösung überzeugt das Gerät, sondern auch mit der sauberen Verarbeitung. Die Bedienung vom Zoomring ist etwas schwerer, dafür die vom Fokusring angenehm leicht.
