With this lens you have the perfect entry level equipment for digital SLR cameras and are well prepared for numerous areas of photography. It opens up a variation of different image angles, from the wide-angle range to the telephoto range (18-200mm - equivalent 27-300mm at 35mm KB format) and also the macro range is covered. The OS (Optical Stabilizer) and the fast HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) provide even more comfort when shooting close-up, indoor and night scenes from the hand.

The latest technologies have been incorporated, making it a recommended standard zoom lens of the latest generation.

Die Bildqualität macht einen positiven Eindruck mit einem besonderen Lob für die Helligkeitsverteilung und die Reflexionen. Nur die eher mäßige Bildstabilisierung und die unterdurchschnittliche Leistung bei Falschlicht ziehen den Schnitt hier etwas nach unten...
