Sigma lenses designated "DC" are high-performance lenses specifically designed for digital cameras with image sensors up to APS-C format. When used on cameras with larger sensors, vignetting may occur. Photographers are advised to adjust the sensor format for optimal image results, as far as the camera allows. Sigma lenses designated "DN" are designed to deliver outstanding performance on mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras with a short flange distance.
