Product details

The TaHoma Switch is a smart home hub from Somfy designed for the easy operation and networking of various home automation products. It allows users to securely access the system via an app on their tablet or smartphone (iOS or Android), even when they are away from home. With the TaHoma Switch, up to 200 products from Somfy and compatible partners can be integrated and controlled. Installation is supported by step-by-step instructions in the TaHoma Pro app, and the use of the TaHoma by Somfy customer app for setup is also possible.

The central control allows for the operation of io, RTS, and Zigbee 3.0 products, both individually and in groups. Through the Zigbee 3.0 integration, lighting systems can not only be turned on and off or dimmed, but also have their color and color temperature adjusted. Sensors and alarms for temperature, humidity, openings, motion, smoke, and water levels can also be integrated, as well as the control of Danfoss Icon 24 OTA underfloor heating and Danfoss Ally radiator thermostats. Somfy Protect alarm systems and cameras are also compatible, and the current status of io and Zigbee 3.0 products can be displayed.

Since the TaHoma Switch is Wi-Fi capable, it can be flexibly placed within the home. Creating living scenarios and personal favorites can be done easily, either manually, time-dependent, or sensor-dependent, with special buttons on the box for the manual activation of two scenarios. Calendar-controlled scenarios and if-then scenarios can be planned, and push notifications can be set for specific events. There is no integration of RTD products or KNX projects, only predecessor TaHoma Premium and TaHoma DinRail with the TaHoma Classic app.
