Product details

This system has, for example, a completely unauthorized viewfinder, whereas conventional devices can only reduce so-called blackouts. A responsive, quiet anti-distortion shutter without vibration greatly
expands your shooting possibilities, while a mechanical system can only try to reduce vibration and shutter noise. The α9 provides continuous tracking of moving objects for easy autofocus and automatic exposure, while conventional SLR cameras can only optimise AF or AE performance. In addition, the α9 viewfinder not only shows you images of your subject - as with conventional cameras - but also the finished shot. Thanks to a new image sensor that has mastered all these innovations, α9 will exceed all your expectations. Note: This camera is equipped with electronic and mechanical shutters. The functions described here are mainly related to electronic shutter control. Innovative, multi-layer, full-format CMOS sensor with integrated memory: with the α9 you will no longer photograph within the limits of conventional SLR cameras based on mechanical systems. The ultra-fast 24.2 MP full-format sensor, used for the first time in a multi-layer design, can temporarily store large amounts of data in its integrated memory, ensuring that data can be read out 20 times faster overall. The combination of the CMOS sensor and the enhanced BIONZ X image processor gives you true digital freedom. High-speed continuous shooting (up to 20 fps): The combination of the EXMORRS full-format CMOS sensor and the BIONZ X image processor enables continuous shooting at up to 20 fps with AF/AE tracking. Thanks to the buffer memory, you can capture the decisive moment in pictures. Uninterrupted shooting: An electronic viewfinder prevents interruptions (blackouts). Even when the shutter is released, the subject of a continuous shooting series is displayed without interruption at 60 frames per second, live or with only minimal delay. The successful combination of a mirrorless design and new, accelerating technologies enables autofocus and automatic exposure over the entire focal plane. An electronic anti-distortion shutter enables quiet shooting without noise. This makes the camera ideal for sports shooting and in situations where quiet operation is required. When shooting with SLR cameras, the movement of the mirrors and pressing the shutter release button causes minimal vibration. However, α9 has a vibration-free electronic shutter release. Due to full pixel readout without pixel binning, 2.4 times more data than required for 4K (equivalent to the amount of data for 6K) can be processed and a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 can be achieved. This oversampling together with full pixel readout without binning ensures the best possible 4K video quality.
