Sony Alpha a77II Body
24 Mpx, APS-C / DXProduct details
Precise and fast: the new Alpha 77 II is the new high-performance sports car in Sony's
In addition to the significantly stronger autofocus (AF), the Alpha 77 II also shines with improved image quality and 20 percent better noise behaviour in photo and video mode. Sony has not only increased the speed of continuous shooting, but also the mileage of the camera - i. e. the number of continuous shooting images that photographers can take without breathing time of the camera - has increased significantly. The new Sprinter not only sets speed records in the Alpha family. The phase autofocus also works fast on an almost twice as large field and covers the majority of the viewfinder. Especially here the Alpha 77 II has the potential to stand on the winner's step in front of other professional cameras.
Video fans can also enjoy new creative possibilities.
The Alpha 77 II is the first alpha camera to have 79 autofocus points. 15 cross sensors cover the most important image areas. Thus, no subject escapes the camera - even if it moves quickly and diagonally through the image.
Especially in such situations, other cameras often lose sight of the essentials. The Alpha 77 II's new sensor has the same seamless pixel structure as the Alpha 7R and Alpha 6000 sensors, with some improvements that give it 20 percent more sensitivity than its predecessor in the Alpha 77, guaranteeing premium image quality between ISO 100 and ISO 25,600.
The endurance of the Alpha 77 II outstrips that of many a professional competitor. With up to 60 pictures in a row without a break, it is undoubtedly one of the best in the industry. With twelve images per second, it also breaks many speed records.
