This model improves upon its predecessor by implementing an updated BIONZ X processor with front-end LSI to achieve faster speeds.

Die Cyber-shot RX10 IV ist aufwendig abgedichtet und noch größer und deutlich teurer als der Testsieger. Die Bildqualität ist nur eine Spur besser - beim Fotografieren und Filmen. Etwas höheres Tempo bei Serien und der besonders schnelle Autofokus mit guter Motiverkennung reichte aber nicht für den Sprung auf eine bessere Note - daher landete das Modell auf Platz 2.

Die Cyber-shot RX10 IV ist groß und teuer, dafür lässt die Ausstattung kaum Wünsche übrig. Ein Highlight ist das lichtstarke 25-fach-Zoommehr Zoom bietet bei den Kameras mit 1-Zoll-Sensor keine. Dazu kommen ein enormes Tempo bei Serien, ein schneller Autofokus mit guter Motiverkennung und ein großer Suher. Eine Besonderheit: Die RX10 IV ist aufwendig vor Staub und Nässe geschützt.
