Equipped with the best lens technologies available today, the new 24-70 full-frame zoom lens from Sony is the first choice for those looking for the highest possible quality and flexibility for all areas of photography.
The new lens consists of three aspherical elements. This includes a newly developed extremely precise XA (extremely aspherical) element that reduces aberration to a minimum and offers the best possible resolution over the entire zoom and aperture range. In addition, an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element and a Super ED glass element ensure minimal chromatic aberration. At the same time, the resolution remains at the highest level with natural bokeh. The circular aperture of the lens consists of nine blades. It is coated with Nano AR (Anti Reflection) to prevent reflections and maintain contrast and clarity.
The new FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM features a "Direct Drive SSM (Super Sonic Wave Motor)", which controls the optimal focus point quickly and efficiently. New algorithms control the lens elements quickly and precisely. The motor operates quietly - and is therefore also ideal for videos.
The lens is dust and moisture resistant and has a new design - including AF/MF switch, focus lock and buttons to release the sun visor. In addition, there are two filters matching the lens: the VF-82MP to protect the front lens and the circular polarising filter VF-82COAM.

Mit dem Sony FE 24-70 mm F2.8 GM (SEL2470GM) behauptet sich im Test das beste Zoom-Objektiv für Sony DSLM mit Vollformat-Sensor. Dabei mangelt es dem Standard-Zoom vor allem an einem: Schwächen. Auflösung, Ausstattung und Autofokus liefern erstklassige Ergebnisse. Lediglich das hohe Gewicht fügt sich nicht so richtig ins kompakte Alpha-7-System.
