The Sony KD-55A8 plays to all the strengths of an OLED TV: rich blacks, vibrant colours and great viewing angle stability. In addition, there is decent sound with extensive features and good ease of use. Only console players might miss the lack of HDMI 2.1 support.

Sony's new OLED smart TV offers a top picture, excellent features and operation. Above all, the OLED model offers a lot of tried and tested features, but follows on positively from its predecessors at a high level.
