The Teamgroup T-Force Z540 is available in Germany without a cooler. However, a cooler is mandatory in order to maintain the very high transfer rates. We took the measurements with the Dark Airflow and were completely convinced.
The Teamgroup T-Force Z540 is available in Germany without a cooler. However, a cooler is mandatory in order to maintain the very high transfer rates. We took the measurements with the Dark Airflow and were completely convinced.
The TeamGroup T-FORCE Z540 can convince in the test and offers, as usual for the PCIe 5. 0 standard, very high sequential read and write rates. In a comparison of the individual benchmarks, the T-FORCE Z540 achieves good values and is well ahead. Nevertheless, the M. 2 SSD has to admit defeat to a Crucial T705, but still ranks ahead of a T700 by a solid margin...
- High read rates
- High write rates
- short access times
- favourable gigabyte price
- Poor thermal behaviour
- Active cooler unavoidable
The T-Force Z540 only delivers what the manufacturer Teamgroup promises if an active heat sink is installed. This allows it to achieve transfer rates of more than 12 GByte/s.
