Die Lautsprecher in groß und klein bieten eine gute Klangqualität, umfangreiche Funktionen innerhalb der App und sehen zudem auch noch schick aus.

Hauptzweck der hauseigene Plattform ist die Sprachsteuerung der Telekom-Dienste Magenta TV und Magenta Smart Home sowie damit vernetzter Hausgeräte. Eine weitere Besonderheit ist die Telefoniefunktion des Speakers: Die kompakte Box fungiert auf Wunsch als DECT-Mobilteil, das sich per Freisprechfunktion nutzen und steuern lässt.
Der Smart Speaker richtet sich vor allem an Telekom-Kunden, die per Sprache Smarthome und TV steuern oder Festnetz-Telefonate führen wollen. Zur Musikbeschallung taugt er weniger. Die neue Sprachassistentin Magenta wirkt ohne die Nachhilfe von Alexa zudem oft ratlos.
