The RE650 AC2600 WLAN repeater from TP-Link wirelessly connects to a WLAN router and extends its signal with up to 1733 Mbps into previously unreached or hard-to-cable areas. The RE650 operates on two frequency bands, supporting more client devices than a single-band device. This dual-band operation allows the flexibility of two dedicated WLANs, which can be assigned different purposes: e.g. e-mailing, chatting and surfing at 2.4 GHz and simultaneous online gaming and video streaming at 5 GHz. Via the Gigabit LAN port of the RE650, wired network devices without their own WLAN function such as Blue-ray players, game consoles and Smart TVs can be integrated into the existing WLAN. In addition, the intelligent signal strength indicator helps find the ideal location for the RE350. It can also be used as an access point for additional flexibility.
