During the day, the filter removes disruptive infrared light from the recording when there is sufficient brightness, while it automatically switches off at dusk and remains inactive throughout the night. This makes infrared light visible in the video recording, allowing you to see things that would otherwise remain hidden in the dark. Visibility is further enhanced by infrared LED lighting: this illuminates the detection area without an intruder being aware of it.

The network camera is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) through the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a separate power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach places or in areas where many cables would be disruptive. If desired, you can increase the reliability of the connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply.
