USB Current Limiter: A freely adjustable current limiter in the USB test socket simulates a USB connection that provides less than 500 mA. This allows testing of USB sticks to see if they can operate with lower power.

USB Under and Overvoltage: The USB voltage at the test socket can be continuously adjusted from 3.9 V to 6.2 V. At 5.1 V, the potentiometer clicks into place. For safety, the overvoltage mode must be activated separately. An undervoltage can be set at any time.

Precise Laboratory Voltage Adjustment: The 10-position potentiometer facilitates the exact adjustment of the output voltage from 0 to 40 V.

Silent Cooling: Unlike switch-mode power supplies, linear regulated power supplies need to be properly cooled. The VLP-1405 USB features oversized passive heat sinks. Fans are not necessary, and there is sufficient thermal reserve to fully load the laboratory power supply.
