- Strong performance
- Very good display
- Battery life
- No IP certification
- Photo quality in low light
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G performs well overall in the test, although it looks somewhat mixed in the individual categories. The mid-range smartphone primarily scores with strong performance and a great, colourful and bright OLED display. The battery is quite good, but the competition gets more out of it, and the features are mediocre - the phone has 5G, but no IP certification or a separate headphone...
- Bright OLED
- Good camera apart from the zoom
- Video jerks a little
- low energy efficiency
The Mi 11 Lite 5G scores with a bright OLED that delivers strong colours. It also has an astonishingly good camera, which is only weaker when it comes to the zoom. The battery was the weakest in the test, but still really good. The processor is fast, but slower than on the Poco, for example.
Update September: 29 new mobile phones in comparison New in Stiftung Warentest's mobile phone test: 29 current smartphones. Among them is the super-light Carbon Mobile Carbon 1 Mark II. The "mobile phone of the future" (as advertised) has a housing made of carbon fibre and weighs only 125 grams...
- Bright OLED with 90 hertz
- good camera
- Weak zoom photos
- Not waterproof
Xiaomi's Poco F3 is the clear test winner: display, working speed and battery life are really good. On top of that, it is so cheap that it wins the price-performance award. When it comes to speed, there's no way around the Realme GT. And if you want zoom photos or extras like waterproofing or wireless charging, you have to go for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G.
The Mi 11 Lite 5G offers exactly what you would expect from a "Lite" model. As expected, it lacks the speed and the lavish camera equipment of the top device, which is also a good three times as expensive. Nevertheless, fast 5G technology is on board, and the sharp, bright OLED display is no cause for criticism...
