The Redmi Note 9's raison d'être stands and falls with the price gap to the Redmi 9. It was still slower in the test, but took better photos in the dark and offered the brighter screen. So in the end it is minimally better than the Redmi 9. But that is not worth a 50€ surcharge.

The Redmi 9 is the bargain of the bunch, the lame processor degrades it to an entry-level device. If you don't want to gamble and don't intend to take photos in the twilight, you'll find the sharp display and convincing endurance to be a good buy for around €100.
