After several tests on various surfaces, Zowie by BenQ has developed the Zowie EC2-B, an ergonomic wired mouse for right-handed users that adapts to the morphology and play style of each individual. The Zowie by BenQ EC1-B and EC2-B mice retain the same shape and size as the base series with the introduction of the PWM3360. Most mice offer an information transmission rate of 125 Hz, which is often artificially increased to 500 or 1000 Hz through a resource-intensive driver. The Zowie EC mice are the only ones that provide a standard 1000 Hz transmission without the need to install any drivers.

Unlike all other mice that generally use a mechanical wheel, Zowie EC mice feature an optical 24-step wheel instead of 16 in the EC versions for longer lifespan, better responsiveness, and higher accuracy. With almost all mice on the market, the cursor moves when you lift it to reposition it in the center of the pad. In professional competitions, this type of inaccuracy is unacceptable and can be very costly. Therefore, Zowie has developed a unique optical technology that reduces the working distance of the sensor to 1.5 mm.
