As the designation has still not been corrected (see Andrenick1) means that the version pictured is still the old 100-300mm lens from 2010. Improved version has the designation: "Panasonic 100-300mm f/4.0-5.6 II Power O.I.S" (so with "II" meaning "2"). Right?

According to the manufacturer's number, this is the new version. I doubt that the old version is still available.
