Question about Nokia Streaming box 8000
Attention: Does NOT work with the UPC TV app. It can be downloaded and installed, but UPC (paying customers!) refuses to register, saying that you have to get a UPC Mediabox. Another brilliant performance by UPC - it works fine on the PC browser, but on the smarttv box UPC wants sole control and therefore deliberately blocks the use of other boxes. This company is becoming more and more unsympathetic to me every day.
So on my Nokia Streaming Box 8000, the UPC app works without any problems. I hope it stays that way...
Unfortunately, the Blue TV app from Swisscom is also not available in the GOOGLE Store.
Does the Yallo TV app work well on Nokia Streaming Box 8000?
TVneo from Sunrise does not work on my box - it is not available for this Android device. I bought it especially for my older TVs. My latest Samsung TV has it built in. Unfortunately, an additional box from Sunrise for TVneo is not an option either, as it is not available (apart from the higher price).
Another small hint, all those who have a UPC Mediabox can use the box, those who only have a DigiCard cannot.
On my Xiaomi Mi box with Android TV, the UPC app also works
Neither Bluewin TV nor Sunrise Smart TV can be installed. I assume Swisscom and Sunrise only allow their boxes to download.
