Can I print from other WIN programmes (database) without any problems ? Or only from the Brother label software ?
Yes.
As mentioned, the printer driver appears as a Windows printer driver and it is also possible to send to this printer.
I once made a test print from Word (page setting to 5x3 cm): In the result the text was only very small visible and the alignment was just different from what I had chosen.
Conclusion: Yes, it works, but you probably have to try it out a bit until you get the settings right (but there may be something on the net about this; it shouldn't be very difficult). What is missing here, however, is that you cannot (presumably) select the cutting settings for each label (but maybe there is a trick).
We only print from this software, so I don't know exactly. Basically, however, the part provides a normal Windows printer driver, so I don't think there's anything to be said against accessing it with standardised software. With the QL that I also use, it is possible to print signs from Excel.
In my opinion, the printer is more suitable as a party gag or for individual small colourful photo stickers. The image quality for photos is modest. The small pictures are not cheap either. The printing is quite slow.My Brother QL-700 is of a different calibre.it is cheap in price and printing paper, prints very fast -but only in b/w- and is suitable with the accompanying software for all kinds of printing tasks,e.g. all kinds of labels, also with graphics or photos.
or photos.
