I can confirm it CAN be operated at 4k 60hz with the macbook air M1, but note you need an adapter that supports it, I'd recommend a thunderbolt to hdmi/dp adapter, since that's guaranteed to support 4k 60hz, some cheaper usb-c to hdmi/dp adapters are limited to 30hz or sometimes don't work at all.

I have only tested it with the 2018 Macbook Air and it worked fine. Please note that the colour quality of this monitor not is the greatest but value for money is fine
