The device works well overall, but two things bother me. 1) The Chromecast is always switched on, if I'm away for 2 or 3 days, the thing continues to run in the same way. Can't I switch it off without having to climb behind the TV? 2) Spotify doesn't work. It can be installed, but it causes problems. No sound and songs are rewound after 10 seconds. However, the Chromecast is very suitable for watching series. Lg

You can control your Chromecast TV in Google home app(on- off etc..)You can set as a default music provider in your case Spotify,that can resolve all your problems.
