Question about Icy Box Ib-183m2
Does anyone have experience with the ICY BOX and a Corsair MP510 or an ADATA XPG SSD (both M.2 2280)? Both SSDs are not recognised in the ICY BOX, neither in Windows nor under macOS in the respective hard disk utilities. Or are the two SSDs incompatible? :-/ Kind regards
Both SSDs you mentioned use the NVMe protocol. However, this adapter only supports the AHCI protocol (SATA). For NVMe SSDs you need an active adapter, for example this one:
