I don't use stands, but have placed the speakers on a plinth behind the sofa. Personally, I find that the two speakers enhance the surround effect very well. I was only not satisfied with the soundbar and the bass. Now I really enjoy 5.1 action films again. Of course, it may be that the two speakers do not reach peak values from a measurement point of view, but I am satisfied so far and have fun with the system.

So I have the speakers on stands from bose (Bose UFS-20 Series II Universal Floor Stand). They fit like a glove there. The stands are very discreet and stable enough. I used kit to keep the cables in the guide rail at the back, so that they stay in place. I think it looks good.
The sound is good in my opinion. The price-performance ratio is right. It enhances the surround sound of the sounbar and creates a good 7.1 ambience.
