Does the Canon PIXMA TS9551C support scanning to a local server share? This function is called something: Scan-to-NAS, Scan-to-SMB.
hello anonymus
I haven't installed the device yet, sorry.
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with such cool terms either. But scanning from the iMac as well as from the iPhone is very easy via the app. Overall, the printer makes a rather rickety impression. The original ink smudges when marking, which is also annoying. But it can do lots of cool things, special prints and pretty much all formats, even A3. It prints on both sides. You don't always have to open the lid to scan because it has an upper drawer. The ink change requires no adjustment and therefore no ink consumption! This was my killer criterion for Epson! We've been using it for a long time and since we've been back from our 4-week holiday, it's been printing green. Although the printer has a cleaning and intensive cleaning process, neither of these did any good this time. The inks are full and the firmware is up to date. I will therefore clean the nozzles manually. If nothing can be done and I don't have to buy a new one, I'll still buy it again. Because it doesn't bitch around and doesn't use ink unnecessarily. But what I really miss is a "draft print", especially when I want to print a picture in a hurry, regardless of its quality. You can only print "normal" or "best quality" (photo). Instead, you can select whether it is a photo, document, table, etc. when scanning. And the programme then converts automatically, area then selectable. That is practical. Maybe this will help a little (even if the text is a bit without a real concept)
Sorry, but I don't know the technical details. Overall, I don't think the user interface is that great, so I wouldn't recommend the device anyway.
