Does this switch work with the Swisscom UHD TV-Box 2.0? If not, what criteria must a switch meet? Signal forwarding does not work with my D-Link DGS-105.

Helpful answer

This should actually work. It is important with Swisscom tv that the switch supports igmp snooping and that this can be set (configured) on the switch.
Here is a thread in the Swisscom forum, where other switches are also mentioned.

Bought in June 2021 with the latest version of Swisscom TV box, it doesn't work. I can watch Netflix and use other installed apps, but Swisscom TV channels are not playing. Very disappointed with my purchase.

It seems that this switch should theoretically work with the Swisscom TV box. This according to a Swisscom employee who uses this switch himself and operates a TV box with it.

Unfortunately I cannot confirm this, I have ordered two pieces of this switch and attached a TV box, in both cases it did not work or did not work properly: The picture ran smoothly for 9-10s, then the live stream hung up for about 2s, then it worked again for 9-10s. In my case, the switch was the problem, because with a direct connection without a switch, everything worked without a problem.

Therefore: In itself it should work, but in my case it did not.

Yes, the switch works up to 1 G-bit internet speed. So all you have to do is have patch cables and you're good to go.
