Is the SSD compatible with my Tomahawk B350 motherboard? In fact, I see on the MSI website that it has "Samsung 970 EVO - MZ-V7E2T0" and the reference of this SSD on DIGITEC is MZ-V7S2T0BW. Is it the same or are there two types of SSD?

Samsung Electronics GmbH
Hello,
Thank you very much for your request.
If your motherboard has an M.2 slot, you can use this SSD.
To use the full performance of the SSD, the M.2 slot should have PCIe 3.0 with 4 lanes.
If in doubt, please contact the device manufacturer directly.
To find the right SSD for you and compatible with your system, take a look at the "SSD Configurator" on the Samsung homepage.
With a few short questions and in just a few minutes, we will find the right SSD for you.
To do this, please go directly to the Samsung homepage and place the mouse pointer over the category "Computer", which is listed in the upper part of the screen.
Under the category "Recommended" you will find the "SSD Configurator", which you should select.
Alternatively, you can find the "SSD Configurator" by simply entering "Samsung - Which SSD is right for me?" into a search engine.
On the following pages you will be asked about your system and your personal requirements in order to find the right product for you.
Best regards from Schwalbach,
Your Samsung Service Team

The T0BW (970 evo) has been replaced by the T0B (970 evo plus) if it is not exactly the same drive it is its direct replacement, the compatibility lists quoted by the manufacturers are very rarely updated and this is quite a new thing especially to avoid people plugging in anything, apart from the ram memory you should not worry about what counts for NVMEs.I'm not sure if it's the same drive or not, it's a direct replacement, the compatibility lists quoted by the manufacturers are very rarely updated and it's a new thing to avoid people plugging in anything, except for the ram memory, you don't have to worry about the type of connector here for the NVMEs: M.2 M Key (there is a "hole" here) and its length here is: M.2 2280
this model is the classic one for a desktop computer and therefore your motherboard but for a laptop or a mini-computer like NUC you have to check the accepted model
