Question about Samsung 970 EVO Plus

Hello I would like to buy a new SSD/external for the new Mac Book Pro with max processor. Is the Samsung 970EVO Plus 2 TB in a Ich Box IB-1817 Ma-C31 a good combo. Or is there something much better that is not much more expensive? Does this combo even fit the latest Mac Book Pro Max? Thanks for the support.

The Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe™ M.2 (2280) SSD is not compatible with the latest MacBook Pro.
We recommend the Samsung Portable SSD T5, T7 or T7 Touch.
If in doubt, please enquire directly with Apple support.
