Hello, is the topic of "pixels per inch" in monitor selection still a topic with the current Mac OS on the mac mini M4? Is the following statement still valid: mac OS harmonises best with monitors that have 110 PPI or 220 PPI. Should have something to do with the UI scaling with alleged performance loss with 4k monitors that have a PPI between 110 and 220. Is that true? Thanks and greetings Denny

Dear Denny,
The more pixels per inch, the higher the Display resolution. The IPS LCDs Pro Art PA279CVR is an excellently balanced monitor in terms of both Display resolution and colour reproduction, etc.. Even more pixels would be useless. In contrast to the equally high-resolution QD monitors from Samsung, whose narrow-band blue intensity is apparently too high, its long-term operation is completely fatigue-free for the eyes.

In practice, scaling works perfectly with the latest Mac OS. I use a Mac Studio M2 and all resolutions look great...
