Question about Reolink Argus 3 Pro

Hi guys, I can't figure it out. Can I mount the Argus 3 Pro (or two or three cameras of the same type) on the outside wall of my house without having to pay for a subscription? What do I need - just the simple cameras or do I also need a basic device (RLN network recorder)? I would have the cameras outside, so I am aware that I need to charge the batteries. What is realistic, 1x per month? I did not find any empirical values. Then I don't have a clever solution to pull a PoE cable. But the cameras would all have WLAN accessibility. Do I need an RLN network recorder so that the videos can be stored "inside" the house on the server (e.g. NAS Synology?) via WLAN, or does the paid subscription come into play? This is with the thought that if the camera is stolen, the SD card inside is also gone. Does the recognition of cars/people/animals also work without a number subscription? I don't see anywhere why/when I have to make a payment subscription and what would also work without one. For me, the important thing is: automatic transfer of the videos to your server inside the house, possible via WLAN. And I don't want to sign up for a monthly subscription. And: Synology server would be available. But I'm not a pro at it... Thank you very much for feedback.

Helpful answer

Hello
- A paid subscription is not necessary.
- My Argus 3 Pro is externally mounted, three screws from the package are sufficient. No power connection, no mains cable. For safety's sake, it is under a canopy, so it has additional protection from rain/snow. In order to position the camera accurately, the position should be marked before screwing, as the camera has only a small swivel range, the clearance for the joint is sufficient, but only small - can be corrected with a minimal slight rotation when mounting on the base (screwed to the wall). At some point, however, the camera's gravity wins out.
- Tip: if facial recognition is essential, first check how visitors usually behave (e.g. in front of the entrance door) so that the camera has the right angle (right/left of the door).
- Installation: take data protection into account so that the camera does not record too much (this can cause trouble with neighbours).
- Camera additionally equipped with 256 GB card (optional, purchase separately), on which movements are stored: Memory can be deleted / formatted online.
- Installation: Download app, register camera, connect to WLAN, etc,
- Motion reports or replay of recorded movements possible via the internet, WLAN must be permanently active for this. If instant messages are not necessary, then permanent Wi-Fi is not required (not tested). In 6 weeks, the memory card was only filled with 2 GB - of course, this depends on the installation location. Messages or replay via app also works from overseas(!), if WLAN is active at the installation site.
- I don't know whether the data can be downloaded to a server via WLAN, as this is not relevant for me, the memory card can be removed.
- Replay function is ok, recording time can be set (I set 8 seconds).
- Charging time approx. 4 - 5 hours, enough for about 6 weeks with new cameras (depending on how many recordings are made), I have not yet evaluated whether the battery needs to be changed.
- Couldn't or didn't want to pull cables at the installation site, so good solution.
- More than one camera is possible, but I have not implemented this yet.

Can I connect the Reolink Argus 3 PRO to more than one Wi-Fi? We have three different WLANs in the house and depending on where we are in the house, the mobile phone and the camera should connect to the appropriate WLAN.
