Question about Microsoft Surface Dock

I bought the https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/samsung-ls34j550wqrxen-3440-x-1440-pixels-34-monitor-10206984?supplier=406802 and when I connect it to the dock with my existing mini dp to hdmi, I can select max resolution "1920x1080". When I do it via another dock with hdmi to hdmi, I get the full "3440x1440". Can anyone help me how to achieve this via docking?

I tried the Samsung G8 screen. Same problem and always a flutter. I sold the screen again. All connections HDMI etc. did nothing.
