HTC Vive Cosmos Elite HMD
HTC Vive Cosmos Elite HMD
I bought these goggles so that I wouldn't have to pay for a whole set. And since I only wanted to use them for sim racing in the seat, I thought that would be enough. However, you can't do anything with them without the complete kit. For SteamVR to recognise the glasses, there has to be a base station. This is not written anywhere and it is a mystery to me why it is sold separately, as according to the software it is also not compatible with the previous versions of the base stations and controllers. Now my question; Why are these glasses sold without a base station? Or how can the glasses be used without a base station?
Haloo the vive cosmos elite can only be operated with steam boxes. The one that works without boxes is called htc vive cosmos. But there is a faceplate for the elite so you can use it without steam boxes.
The controllers and base stations are all compatible. You need 2 of each.
Or a faceplate with special controllers. The ones with the round arc around the hand.
